I remember reading a blogpost from HubSpot back in 2009 when I was starting to learn and fall in love with the idea of end-to-end digital marketing methodology, the inbound marketing methodology. A way to enggage with your customers in any stage of their buying journey. That is when InboundID (the innitial name was Inbound Marketing Indonesia) was born.
Innitially the co was servicing clients from outside of Indonesia, for their SEO campaign and AdWords campaign. I still have the docs of the first SEO report for a retail co in UK. A lists of link acquistion and on-page recommendation for their website.
Then in early 2010, a friend at COMLABS ITB asked InboundID to run a training session for digital enthusiast. We had 3 training sessions with COMLABS before M-Stars contacted me. It was Italo who asked me to share on SEO, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools and Google Website Optimizer for M-Stars team back then.
After the training, we then shared more about digital marketing, mobile marketing and other marketing related topics. When Italo said that he was interested to partner up for InboundID, here was where everything changed.
With Italo’s experiences and business network, InboundID was taking off. We started to work with companies like Unilever, Indosat, Telkomsel, Greenpeace and many more. He’s not only my mentor in digital and mobile marketing, but also in business and management. Even now when he is not involved in the management team, I’m always seeks for his advises in business, management and digital marketing.
Today, 7 years after that blogpost from HubSpot that I read, InboundID is packed with 50+ talented digital marketers that I’m so proud of, and the experiences needed to rock the Indonesia’s digital marketing industry even more!
Happy birthday InboundID, Happy birthday Indonesia’s first inbound marketing agency.
p.s. Thank you to all InboundID’s clients who has given the chances to work and collaborate on their inbound marketkng campaign.
